If you're unsure which length to order, here's a simple method to help you find the perfect length:

Use a String: Take a piece of string or a thin strip of paper and wrap it around your neck, holding it at the spot where you want the necklace to sit. 

Measure the String: Once you've found the right spot, remove the string and measure it using a ruler or tape measure. This measurement will give you an  indication of the length to order.

Production & Shipping Time

Production

All orders begin processing on the next business day.

--Orders that do not contain a Personalized or Fine item (Ready to Ship) will ship within 3 business days.

--Orders with a Personalized or Fine item (Made to Order) will take 7 business days to ship.

--Pre-Order items ship separately.

Production time may increase during sales and holidays. 

Shipping

Once your order has been processed (see above production timing), orders are shipped via USPS First Class mail, with delivery between 3-5 business days.

UPS 2-day and UPS overnight shipping options are available. Please note that for Fine Jewelry the 7 day production time still applies and the expedited service will only be available once the item has been made.

Changing Or Canceling Orders

We start the jewelry making process right away, so making a change to your order may not be possible. If the order has not been started or shipped yet, we'll do our best to accommodate a change or cancellation.

While we can't guarantee that we can change or cancel your order please feel free to email love@jamesmichelle.com asap with your first and last name, and order number to request a change or cancellation.

Price Adjustments

We do not offer price adjustments on any orders, including pieces purchased shortly before a sale.

International Orders

We ship internationally. However, the customer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and customs fees due at delivery. Packing slips for international shipments cannot be marked as a "gift" or with altered prices. If shipment is rejected by the recipient, they will be charged the return fee. We are not responsible for any shipments held by international customs agencies. Please check with your country's customs office to determine their procedures and any additional charges.

Rush Orders

We offer UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air for fast shipping. To inquire about expediting jewelry production please email love@jamesmichelle.com or use our online chat.

Warranty

Warranty

We offer a one year warranty on our jewelry. Our warranty covers damage to the material or the workmanship of the jewelry. The warranty does not cover lost items, normal wear and tear, or improper use or storage. 

Please note that our fine jewelry is covered by a lifetime warranty. We will repair (fine jewelry only) or replace your jewelry if any damage to the material or the workmanship of the jewelry occurs.

Repairs

Under warranty, we'll repair or replace your jewelry if any damage to the material or the workmanship of the jewelry occurs. However, we do not offer repairs outside of warranty.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns & Exchanges

RETURN & EXCHANGE EXTENSION:
Qualifying orders placed between Oct. 19 - Dec. 25 may be returned or exchanged until Jan. 31, 2024.

We offer returns on eligible items for exchange and/or store credit only. We do not offer refunds on any return orders. All returns must be made within 30 days of the order date and must be clean, unworn, and have no signs of wear or damage. Certain pieces are always final sale (please refer to the final sale guide below).

Sets can only be returned or exchanged as a set. No individual item of a set can be returned for refund, store credit and/or size exchange.

Please visit our Returns & Exchanges Portal to begin a return or exchange. Please have your order number and shipping zip code available.  Returns may take up to 14 days to process.

Final Sale Items
Please note that the following items are not eligible for a return or exchange at any time. 

  • Personalized jewelry: all pieces that are hand stamped and/or engraved are final sale and are not eligible for a return or exchange at any time.
  • Sale or Clearance items: pieces with prices ending in .99 are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Fine jewelry: all fine collection pieces are final sale and are not eligible for a return or exchange at any time. Please take extra care and attention when selecting your size for fine jewelry pieces. Some repairs and replacements on fine jewelry are covered under warranty. Lost Orders, Incorrect Items, Damaged Items

If you order has not arrived within 15 days after your order has shipped or you received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at love@jamesmichelle.com with your order number and what you need help with.

Jewelry Care

Caring for your Jewelry

Our jewelry holds up very well if cared for properly (see our tips below). When jewelry does not hold up well, it often has to do with our skin chemistry or the piece of jewelry reacting with another substance or metal in a way that degrades the finish.

Here are a few care tips:

- Avoid exposing your jewelry to water. The minerals/chemicals in tap water, pools, saunas, beaches, etc. will cause jewelry to oxidize quickly

- Avoid spraying oils, creams or perfume directly on jewelry. This includes all self-tanning products. Wear your jewelry after you have applied lotion or cream or sprayed on your favorite perfume so that chemicals on the spray or perfume does not interact with your jewelry’s metal

- Clean your jewelry with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt or restore shine. If your jewelry needs more cleaning you may clean it with warm, soapy water. Soak it for a few minutes and then very gently wipe it dry. Stay away from jewelry cleaners and antibacterial soaps which may have certain components that will make your jewelry tarnish more quickly

-Always remove your jewelry before working out or before sleeping
